Shipping Information:

Cargo Equipment prides itself on fast efficient shipping. We try to ship all stock products within 24 hrs. and custom orders within 3-5 business days. Remember to allow adequate time for shipping. Shipments are F.O.B. Huntley, IL or applicable manufacturing warehouse. We generally ship all products via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. Quicker shipping is available at an additional charge. LTL Freight Shipments

  • Customer must be present at time of the delivery in order to accept the freight
  • If freight is not accepted on scheduled delivery date, a re-delivery will need to be authorized
  • Re-Delivery fee from the carrier will then be charged to customer's credit card
Oversize or heavy weight products not able to ship via UPS or FedEx will ship via an LTL carrier of Cargo Equipment's choice unless the customer specifies otherwise. Customer pickups are welcome but it is the driver's responsibility to secure the load.

Freight Charges:

Any quote of freight charges by a salesperson or customer service rep is an estimate only and may vary at the time of delivery.

Merchandise Damaged In Transit:

Check shipments immediately upon receipt. Note any damage when signing for your shipment. Do not return goods damaged in transit to us. Do not destroy packing materials. Notify the transportation company, UPS, FedEx, Post Office, or Motor Carrier immediately. They will pick up the merchandise and packing materials for inspection & settlement of your claim. Cargo Equipment can assist you when filing damage or loss claims with carriers, but cannot become directly involved in the claims process. Our liability for damage in transit ceases when the carrier receives the shipment from us.

Shortages:

Check shipments upon receipt. Report errors within 5 days. Obtain a damage or shortage notation on the carriers receipt. We can assist you when filing claims against carriers, but our liability ceases when the carrier receives the merchandise.

Returning Goods:

Cancellations:

Any cancellation is subject to our approval. A restock charge may apply to specials, non-stock or production items if cancelled. Straps made custom for a customer are not able to be returned.

Defective Material:

Our liability is limited to the value of the defective material. Claims for damages or expenses resulting from the use of any product furnished by or through us are not allowable. Freight charges are not covered under warranty policies.

Minimum Order Charge:

Our minimum charge per invoice is $25.00 NET exclusive of prepaid transportation costs.

Technical Assistance:

Any technical assistance provided to the Buyer by Cargo Equipment with respect to the use of equipment or supplies furnished to the Buyer shall be without charge. Cargo Equipment assumes no obligation or liability for any such advice, or for any results that may occur as a result of such advice. The Buyer shall have sole responsibility for selection and specifications of the equipment & supplies appropriate for the end use of such equipment and supplies.
