New and improved design! The Silvercap Overdrive Ratcheting Cap now has a more weatherproof seal and added grease fitting.

The safe, easy-to-use, Overdrive Ratcheting Cap is designed to bolt over the mandrel of your truck winch and convert it into a socket wrench style tensioning device.

Using your standard winch bar you will only have to set the bar once and then crank as you normally would. The ratchet cap acts as a socket wrench so you can tighten the winch strap without removing your winch bar from the mandrel.

I use 6 of the winch straps and just bought 3 of your over drive ratcheting cap and I really like the time it has saved me not having to regroup when I tie down. I will probably buy 3 more in a few more weeks. Rod

Great for over the tires

I really didn't think I was going to like these but they work well and have stood up pretty decently for heavy daily use on a dedicated route. Just bought two more to replace one that stopped ratcheting.
