Polyester webbing has great properties that make it ideal for tie-down applications. First of all it has some of the lowest stretch factors of any of the webbing types. Less than nylon and certainly less the polypropylene (one of the highest stretch factors). Polyester cargo web is strong and lightweight like nylon webbing, which is commonly used as military webbing, but without the stretch of nylon.Polyester webbing has some of the best resistance to abrasion, UV rays and water absorption makes it great for tie-downs, E-track Straps, winch straps, ratchet straps, tow straps and general cargo strapping. We even make ratchet straps with a polyester webbing coated with "anti-wick" treatment. This treatment prevents absorption of any liquid into the fibers of the strapping. As a manufacturer we are able to make any type of strap you need for you cargo control application. Visit our custom strap builder where you can create your own custom strapping.
One of newest and very popular uses for polyester web material is in lifting slings. Nylon has been used since slings were invented but that is only because nylon was the only material at that time. With the popularity of polyester we are making more lings from this webbing. Polyester is best when you need controlled lifting without the stretch of nylon. When you are lifting objects you don't want to have a lot of stretch before the actual lift. We manufacture a variety of slings from flat eye to eye, twisted eye to eye, endless slings and round slings. Visit our sling page for more details.
