Return Policy
General Information
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it to Cargo Equipment Corp within 30 days of receipt. Please note:
- Custom orders and certain products are non-returnable.
- All returned items must be shipped in their original package and should be clean, unused and undamaged.
- A return authorization number (RMA) must be obtained before returning products.
- The original shipping cost for all returning items is non-refundable as that service has already been performed.
- A 20% restocking charge will be applied on all returned items.
- If the product is damaged, we will determine the damaged fees to be applied against the return. Damage fees typically range between 50-100% of the product cost.

Prior to Initiating a Return
If you wish to initiate a return, please read through the following questions beforehand. These questions will give you an idea of how eligible your item is for a refund and assist your customer service representative when you call to initiate a return.
- Did the item arrive in acceptable condition?
- Do you have the ability to send photos of the product and/or packaging?
- Do you have the original packaging? And if so, will the original packaging be sufficient to repack the item and send it back without damage?
- Did you use the item, and if so, was the item damaged during usage? If the item was damaged during usage, no return will be initiated, and no refund will be issued. Photos may be requested prior to an RA being issued.
Please note that we will only issue a refund for an item that arrives back to us in new condition, in the original carton. If you choose to pay to send the item back and it arrives in an unacceptable condition, no refund will be issued.
We photograph return packages as they arrive, as part of our standard Returns process. We ask that you take photos of the item before and after repackaging it to facilitate identification of damage that occurred during transit back to us.
Return Instructions
- Contact Customer Service during business hours within 30 days of receiving the product; we will talk to you about your return and issue you a Return Authorization Number. We may ask for photos of the item before we can authorize a return.

- Take Photos of the Product Before Packaging It Back Up. This allows us to confirm that the product arrives in the same state you shipped it.
- Package the Item for Shipping. Pack it securely to prevent damage.
- Take Photos of the Packaged Product Prior to Shipping. This allows us to confirm that no damage occurs to the packaging in transit.
- Ship the Product Back to Us. Ship the item with a reputable shipping company that will provide you with tracking and insurance for your shipment. You must provide us with a valid tracking number to receive any refund.
- Email Your Tracking Number and Photos. The tracking number will be used to confirm that your package arrives and prevent delays in the returns process.
- Wait to Receive Your Refund. You will be credited within 5 business days after we receive your item and inspect it. If the item is found to be unused and in good working order we will issue a refund of the item price, minus the 20% restocking fee, back to the original form of payment. Please note that the original shipping cost is nonrefundable, as the shipping service has already been performed.
Return Restrictions
Certain products are Non-Refundable and/or Non-Returnable. Please refer to the product page for final sale indication.
Cargo Equipment Corp reserves the right to modify this list, and update our returns policy, at any time.
Restriction Definitions
- Non-refundable/non-returnable: The sale is final. The product is not eligible for a full or partial refund. Due to the nature of the product and/or the potential for damage during shipping, the customer must dispose of the product at their discretion instead of shipping it back to us.
- Non-refundable: The sale is final. Even if the product is returned to us, it is not eligible for a full or partial refund.
- Non-returnable: The product is eligible for a full or partial refund if the conditions of our Returns Policy (as stated above) are met. Due to the nature of the product and/or the potential for damage during shipping, the customer must dispose of the product at their discretion instead of shipping it back to us.
Products that do not qualify for our return policy include:

- Custom Items
- Open Box & Clearance Products
- Open Bundles
